10 days Tanzania safari is an experience which will start in Arusha and take place around different destinations in the northern part of Tanzania such as Tarangire national park, Serengeti national park and the Ngorongoro conservation area.
You will engage in game drives around the different destinations during your 10 days Tanzania safari and enjoy searching for wildlife species such as the big 5 like elephants, lions, rhinos, buffalos, leopards among others.
The 10 days Tanzania safari will also end with drop off in Arusha.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1; pick up and drive to Arusha
Your guide will pick you up from the airport on the 1st day of your safari and welcome you. You will be driven to your hotel in Arusha where you will check in and have lunch. You will also have a tour around Arusha and later return to your hotel for dinner and overnight at Tulia boutique hotel and spa.
Day 2; drive to Tarangire national park
After having breakfast at your hotel in Arusha, your guide will pick you up from your hotel and you will be driven to Tarangire national park. Tarangire national park is known for being home to large herds of elephants as well as over 600 bird species. You will check in on arrival at your lodge in the national park.
You will also engage in a game drive in the national park and you will look out for wildlife species such as lions, giraffes, leopards, buffalos, antelopes, zebras among others and also enjoy seeing baobab trees. Your guide will drive you back to your lodge after the game drive for dinner and overnight at Baobab tented camp.
Day 3; full day Tarangire national park
Your guide will pick you up early at your lodge and you will engage in a morning game drive around Tarangire national park as you enjoy looking out for wildlife species in the savannah plains such as elephants, lions, buffalos, giraffes, antelopes, zebras among others. you will have your lunch after your morning game drive.
After lunch, you will also engage in an afternoon game drive in the national park and you will explore attractions like Tarangire river which the national park is named. You will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Baobab tented camp
Day 4; drive to Serengeti national park
You will start with breakfast at your lodge in Tarangire national park on the 4th day of your safari as you prepare to drive to Serengeti national park which is home to the big 5 such as elephants, lions, leopards, buffalos and rhinos. You will check in for lunch at your lodge in the central part of Serengeti national park as you prepare to engage in a game drive.
During your game drive you will explore the endless savannah plains of Serengeti national park and look out for wildlife species such as giraffes, antelopes, gazelles, impalas, kudu, zebras, wildebeests, hippos among others. You will also enjoy seeing predators as you explore Seronera area and later your guide will drive you to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Osinon camps and lodges.
Day 5; full day in Serengeti central
Your guide will pick you up after breakfast at your lodge in Serengeti national park as you prepare for a morning game drive in the national park. You will look out for wildlife species such as wildebeests, elands, zebras, gazelles, giraffes, kudu, impalas, antelopes, waterbucks, lions, leopards, buffalos among others. You will also enjoy seeing rock outcrops known as kopjes as you drive around the savannah plains in the national park.
You will also have lunch after your morning game drive ahead of your afternoon game drive in Serengeti national park to search for more wildlife species. Your guide will later drive you back to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Osinon camps and lodges.
Day 6; drive to Serengeti north
You will have breakfast at your lodge in the central part of Serengeti national park as you prepare to transfer to the northern part of the national park. You will explore the northern part of the national park which is a remote part of Serengeti and is also home to wildlife species such as lions, giraffes, elephants, wildebeests, zebras, cheetahs, hippos among others. You will have lunch after checking in at your lodge.
You will also engage in an evening game drive around the northern part of Serengeti national park in search of different wildlife species and later return to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Lobo wildlife lodge.
Day 7; full day Serengeti north
You will start your day with breakfast at your lodge ahead of a full day exploring the northern part of Serengeti national park. You will drive around the wilderness in search of wildlife species and also enjoy the beautiful landscape. After your morning game drive, you will have your lunch.
You will also engage in another game drive after lunch during your safari as you look out for wildlife species such as predators like lions, cheetahs, leopards and later your guide will drive you back to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Lobo wildlife lodge.
Day 8; transfer to Ngorongoro conservation area
After having breakfast at your lodge, you will check out of the lodge ahead of a game drive around the Ngorongoro crater. You will descend about 600 meters into the Ngorongoro crater where you will search for wildlife species such as elephants, lions, leopards, black rhinos, buffalos, wildebeests, zebras, antelopes, elands, impalas, kudu, gazelles, waterbucks, warthogs, hyenas among others. While exploring the crater floor, you will also enjoy seeing flamingos along the shores of Lake Magadi which is found in the Ngorongoro crater.
Your guide will drive you back to your lodge after your game drive for dinner and overnight at Hhando coffee lodge.
Day 9; drive to Arusha
Your guide will pick you up from your lodge as you prepare to transfer to Arusha where you will check in for lunch at your hotel. You will also have an optional Maasai cultural experience and later return to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Tulia boutique hotel and spa.
Day 10; departure
After breakfast at your hotel in Arusha, your guide will drive you to the airport and drop you off which will bring your safari to an end.
