Detailed itinerary

Day 1; pick up and drive to Lake Manyara national park

Your guide will pick you up from the airport or at your hotel in Arusha and welcome you for your 3 days Tanzania safari. You will also have a short briefing about your safari as you prepare to be driven to Lake Manyara national park. The national park is known for tree climbing lions. The national park is near Mto wa mbu town which is a small busy town where different local communities live. You will also enjoy views of the rift valley escarpment on the way to the national park.

On arrival at your lodge in Lake Manyara national park during your 3 days Tanzania safari, you will check in at your lodge and have lunch. After lunch, you will engage in an afternoon game drive to explore the national park and its attractions such as the shallow alkaline lake and also to look out for different wildlife species like elephants, buffalos, waterbucks, hippos, giraffes, impalas, zebras among others. You will return to your lodge after the game drive for dinner and overnight at Twiga lodge.

Day 2; Mto wa mbu tour and drive to Arusha

After having breakfast at your lodge, you will check out and proceed to Mto wa mbu town where you will enjoy interactions with the local community as you get to know more about their ways of life, their cultures and traditions. You will enjoy visiting the local market, visiting the craft shops.

During your 3 days Tanzania safari after your experience in Mto wa mbu town, you will proceed to Arusha where your guide will drive you to your hotel in Arusha where you will check in at your hotel as you prepare for dinner and overnight at Tulia boutique hotel and spa.

Day 3; visit to Arusha national park and end of safari

On the last day of your 3 days Tanzania safari, you will have breakfast as you prepare for an experience in Arusha national park. You will enjoy seeing wildlife species like black and white colobus monkeys, giraffes, elephants, buffalos, bushbucks, warthogs and many others as well as different bird species. You will enjoy a walking safari in Arusha national park and also get a close experience with nature and wildlife species in the national park. After this experience, you will be driven back to Arusha by your guide and you will be dropped off at Kilimanjaro international airport or your hotel in Arusha which will bring your safari to an end.
