Day 1; pick up and drive to Lake Manyara national park
Your guide will pick you up from the airport or your hotel in Arusha and welcome you for your safari to Tanzania. You will have a short briefing ahead of your drive to Lake Manyara national park with a stop in Mto wa mbu town where you will enjoy craft shopping.
You will also enjoy lunch as you prepare for a game drive around Lake Manyara national park which is home to the tree climbing lions. You will enjoy searching for wildlife species such as lions, elephants, hippos, buffalos, impalas, zebras, kudu, waterbucks, monkeys among others as you explore the national park. Your dinner and overnight will be at Twiga lodge.
Day 2; canopy walk and game drive
After breakfast at your lodge, you will engage in a canopy walk along the treetop walkway in Lake Manyara national park. You will walk along a suspended bridge as you enjoy seeing various wildlife species in the forest as well as different bird species and also enjoying the beautiful views around the national park.
You will also engage in a game drive around Lake Manyara national park to search for the various wildlife species in the diverse habitat such as elephants, lions, buffalos, hippos, waterbucks, giraffes, leopards, gazelles among others. During your game drive around the national park, you will also enjoy seeing flamingos along the shores of the lake. Your dinner and overnight will be at Twiga lodge.
Day 3; departure
On the last day of your 3 days Tanzania safari, you will have breakfast at your lodge and after checking out of the lodge, you will be driven to Arusha and your guide will drop you off at the airport or your hotel in Arusha which will bring the safari to an end.
