4 Days Tanzania Wildlife Safari is a safari to the endless plains of Serengeti national park and the scenic lake Manyara national park for its tree-climbing lions and the Ngorongoro crater in the northern part of Tanzania.

Detailed itinerary

Day 1; pick up and drive to Lake Manyara national park

You will start your 4 days Tanzania tour with pick up from Kilimanjaro international airport or your hotel in Arusha and your guide will welcome you and give you a short briefing about your safari in Tanzania. You will proceed to Lake Manyara national park which is located on the foothills of the Great Rift Valley escarpment.

During your 4 days Tanzania tour, you will also enjoy seeing the shallow alkaline lake which if found in Lake Manyara national park and is known for the many flamingos which can be seen along its shores. You will have lunch at your lodge in the national park as you prepare to engage in an afternoon game drive to experience the beauty of this small and diverse national park. You will see various wildlife species during your game drive such as tree climbing lions, elephants, buffalos, zebras and many others. You will have your dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara tortilis camp.

Day 2; drive to Serengeti national park

Breakfast will be served at your lodge in Lake Manyara national park as you prepare for another wildlife viewing experience during your 4 days Tanzania tour. Your guide will drive you to the famous Serengeti national park where you will explore the central area of the national park which is also known as the seronera area and enjoy seeing various wildlife species and attractions like the hippo pool and kopjes where lions can be spotted.

You will drive around the savannah plains of Serengeti national park after having lunch at your lodge. During your game drive, you will spot various wildlife species such as the big 5 which includes elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos and buffalos. You will see many other wildlife species as you explore Serengeti national park and you will have dinner and overnight at Serengeti heritage luxury tented camps and lodges.

Day 3; morning game drive and transfer to Ngorongoro crater

After having breakfast at your lodge in Serengeti national park, you will engage in a morning game drive to see the different wildlife species in the national park since they are active in the morning. You will see wildlife species such as elephants, lions, antelopes, zebras, buffalos, hippos, elands, gazelles, impalas, dik dik, kudu, hartebeests, waterbucks, giraffes, hyenas as well as a variety of bird species. Serengeti national park is also famous for the wildebeest migration which involves movement of over 2 million wildebeests annually.

You will proceed to Ngorongoro conservation area after your experience in Serengeti national park. After having lunch at your lodge, your guide will drive you to the Ngorongoro crater where you will descend 600 meters into the world’s largest in active caldera and enjoy searching for various wildlife species and also the beautiful scenery at the destination. You will also enjoy seeing attractions such as Lake Magadi in the Ngorongoro crater where many flamingos are along the lake shores. You will have dinner and spend the night at Hhando coffee lodge.

Day 4; departure

After having breakfast at your lodge, your guide will drive you back to Arusha where you will be dropped off at the airport of at your hotel in Arusha and this will bring your 4 days Tanzania safari to an end.
