5 days Nungwi Zanzibar holiday is a beach experience during which you will engage in different activities such as a Stone town tour, visit spice plantations, and also visit the Prison island.
You will also visit Nungwi beach and relax at the beach and take in the beauty of Zanzibar on a Zanzibar safari. You will also get to explore the different attractions on the island as you get to know more about the culture and history of the island.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1; flight to Zanzibar
On arrival at the airport in Zanzibar, you will be picked up and driven to your hotel where you will have lunch. You will spend the rest of the day relaxing at your hotel where you will have dinner and overnight at Zanzibar palace hotel.
Day 2; stone town tour
You will have breakfast at your hotel as you prepare for a Stone town tour and engage in a tour around the city market, the old slave market, the old fort and also get to know about the history and culture about Zanzibar and its mix of cultures.
On the second day of your safari, you will also visit Darajani market where you will go to different stalls as you see various items sold in the stalls such as fruits, kangas among other items. After your stone town tour, you will return to your hotel for dinner and overnight at Zanzibar palace hotel.
Day 3; spice tour and visit prison island
After breakfast at your hotel, you will enjoy a spice tour on Zanzibar island which is also referred to as the spice island where spices such as cloves, nutmeg, vanilla, cinnamon as well as various fruits like coconuts are grown.
You will visit the spice plantations in the company of a local guide and get to know about the uses of the different spices and how they are grown and packaged. You will also get to taste different fruits during your visit to the spice plantations and also visit the stalls where already packaged spices are on sale. You will also visit Prison island during your 5 days Zanzibar holiday where you will encounter the giant tortoises and enjoy swimming and snorkeling in the beautiful coral reefs. After this experience, you will return to your hotel for dinner and overnight at Zanzibar palace hotel.
Day 4; Nungwi beach experience
You will transfer to Nungwi beach after breakfast at your hotel ahead of a full day of relaxing on the white sand beach and swimming in the turquoise waters of the Indian ocean. You will return to your hotel after your visit to Nungwi beach and you will have dinner and spend the night at Flame tree cottages.
Day 5; end of safari
On the last day of your 5 days Nungwi Zanzibar holiday; you will have breakfast at your hotel ahead of your transfer to the airport which will bring your trip to an end.
