Detailed itinerary

Day 1; Arrival and drive to Arusha

Arrival and drive to Arusha: You will begin your 6 days Tanzania trip with pick up from the airport by your guide who will welcome you and brief you about your safari. You will proceed to Arusha where you will check in at your hotel as you prepare to have your lunch.
Later, you will have a tour around Arusha to see different attractions such as the museum, the local markets as well as local art and craft galleries around to buy souvenirs and to see the local art and craft work as well as to interact with the locals. After this experience, you will be driven to your hotel for your dinner and overnight.

Day 2; drive to Lake Manyara national park

drive to Lake Manyara: After breakfast at your hotel, you will check out of the hotel as you prepare for your drive to the first wildlife viewing destination in your itinerary which is Lake Manyara national park. You will have a stop in Mto wa Mbu town for a cultural experience with the Maasai people during which you will engage in a variety of activities such as visiting the “manyattas” which are the traditional homesteads of the Maasai. You will also watch traditional dance performances, listen to folk stories about the nomadic way of life of the Maasai, and visit the kraals where they keep livestock that they depend on for their livelihood such as goats and cattle.
Your guide will drive you to Lake Manyara national park where you will check in and have your lunch at your lodge. After lunch, you will have a game drive to look for wildlife species in the savannah plains of the national park such as the tree climbing lions, giraffes, zebras, buffalos, hippos, leopards, antelopes, hyenas, warthogs, elephants among others. You will also visit Lake Manyara where you will see a variety of bird species as well as wildlife species grazing in the nearby plains. Your guide will drive you back to your lodge for dinner and overnight after your game drive.

Day 3; drive to Serengeti national park

drive to Serengeti: On the 3rd day of your 6 days Tanzania safari, you will have breakfast and then check out of your lodge in Lake Manyara national park as you prepare for your drive to Serengeti national park for more wildlife viewing experiences. You will have a game drive on your way to your lodge in Serengeti national park where you will check in and have your lunch.
You will engage in a wildlife viewing experience after lunch and your guide will drive you around the savannah plains of the national park as you search for wildlife species such as elephants, buffalos, rhinos, lions, leopards commonly referred to as the big five as well as other wildlife and bird species such as wildebeests, waterbucks, antelopes, zebras, antelopes, hippos, giraffes, kudu, warthogs, hyenas, gazelles among others. You will also enjoy photography of the scenery and open savannah after which your guide will drive you back to your lodge where dinner will be served and you will spend the night.

Day 4; Full day in Serengeti national park

Full day in Serengeti: You will spend the 4th day of your 6 days Tanzania wildlife safari exploring the endless plains of Serengeti national park. After breakfast at your lodge, your guide will drive you for your morning game viewing experience as you search for wildlife species which are active during the morning and include predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs as they hunt. Elephants can also be seen moving gracefully in their herds, wildebeests, antelopes, giraffes, kudu, warthogs, hyenas, hippos; kudu among other wildlife species can also be sighted during a game drive.
After returning to your lodge and having your lunch, you will have another game drive to explore more of the wilderness of Serengeti national park and to enjoy photography. You will be driven around different tracks as you search for wildlife species and enjoy the scenery. Dinner and overnight will be at your lodge after your game drive.

Day 5; drive to Tarangire national park

drive to Tarangire: Breakfast will be served at your lodge and you will proceed to check out of your lodge in Serengeti national park. You will have an en route game drive as you leave the national park on your way to Tarangire national park. After checking in at your lodge in Tarangire national park, you will prepare to have your lunch.
Later in the evening, your guide will drive you around the savannah plains of the national park as you search for wildlife species such as giraffes, lions, leopards, zebras, cheetahs, antelopes, gazelles, hippos, buffalos, hartebeests, kudus among others. You will be driven back to your lodge after your evening game drive as you prepare to have your dinner and spend the last night of your 6 days Tanzania safari at your lodge.

Day 6; departure

departure: As your 6 days Tanzania safari comes to an end, you will have breakfast at your lodge and then check out of the lodge. You will have a morning game drive in the savannah plains of Tarangire national park to search for wildlife species which are active in the morning making them easy to spot as they graze and roam around the national park and they include tree-climbing lions, leopards, cheetahs, zebras, hartebeests, elands, giraffes, wildebeests, impalas among others as well as various bird species.
You will continue your journey to Arusha after your morning game drive in Tarangire national park and your guide will drop you off at a location of your preference which will mark the end of your safari.
