6 Days Uganda Gorilla Trekking & Wildlife Safari is a trip around different destinations in Uganda starting with pick up in Entebbe or at your current location and then continuing the journey to lake Mburo national park and then to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park for gorilla trekking and the a visit to Queen Elizabeth national park which is home to the tree-climbing lions and you will also engage in a boat cruise along the Kazinga channel and then return to Entebbe as seen in the itinerary below;

- Day 1; pick up and Lake Mburo national park
- Day 2; drive to Bwindi national park

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1; pick up and Lake Mburo national park
- pick up and Lake Mburo national park: Your guide will pick up from the airport and you will be briefed about your 6 days gorillas and wildlife safari. You will continue your journey to your next destination after your briefing which is Lake Mburo national park a drive which lasts about 3 to 4 hours. You will have a stopover at the equator to enjoy photos and also to visit the craft shops around the equator. You will also enjoy seeing the experiments which take place around the equator. After your equator experience, you will proceed to your lodge in the national park where you will check in and have your lunch. You will have an afternoon game drive in the national park during which you will enjoy seeing different wildlife species such as buffaloes, giraffes, antelopes, impalas, warthogs among others. Dinner and overnight will be at your lodge.

Day 2; drive to Bwindi national park
- drive to Bwindi: After enjoying breakfast early at your lodge on the second day of your safari, you will continue your drive to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park as you enjoy views of the landscape. You will enjoy your lunch en route to the national park which is located in the south western part of Uganda and is home to the endangered gorillas. On arrival in the national park, you will proceed to your lodge as you prepare to have dinner and overnight stay. There is an OPTIONAL nature walking activity if time allows as you explore the forest and the national park.

Day 3; gorilla trekking
- gorilla trekking: You will have an early morning breakfast at your lodge as you prepare for your gorilla trekking activity. After breakfast, you will proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing by the park officials before you continue into the Bwindi impenetrable forest in your groups of 8 for gorilla trekking. You will spend about 2 to 8 hours during the gorilla trek in the company of your ranger guide as you follow the different trails in the forest looking for the gorillas. You will enjoy seeing the various bird species in the forest during this activity. After the gorilla trek, you will return to the briefing point where you will be met by your guide and continue your drive back to your lodge. Dinner and overnight will be at

Day 4; transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park
- transfer to Queen Elizabeth: Breakfast will be served at your lodge in Bwindi national park as you prepare for your drive to your next destination which is Queen Elizabeth national park which is known for the rare tree-climbing lions which can be seen in the ishasha sector. You will check-in at your lodge in the national park as you prepare to have your lunch.
- You will engage in an afternoon game drive after lunch and relaxing at your lodge. Different wildlife species such as antelopes, giraffes, buffalos, hippos, elephants among others can be seen roaming around the savannah plains of Queen Elizabeth national park during the game drive. Dinner and overnight will be at your lodge after your game drive.

Day 5; morning game drive and boat cruise
- morning game drive: You will have breakfast at your lodge as you prepare to engage in a morning game drive in the savannah plains of Queen Elizabeth national park. You will enjoy seeing different wildlife species in the national park during the game drive such as buffalos, hippos, warthogs, antelopes, elephants, and many others. The tree climbing lions in this national park can be seen in the ishasha sector.
- boat cruise: After returning to your lodge for lunch, you will proceed for an afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga channel where lakes George and Albert meet. You will enjoy seeing different bird species like pelicans, cormorants, king fishers, eagles, hornbills among others along the shores of the lake as well as wildlife species such as hippos and buffalos in the nearby plains. Dinner and overnight will be at the lodges as the day before.

Day 6; departure
- departure: On the last day of your safari, you will have breakfast and then check out of your lodge. You will continue your drive back to Entebbe with a stopover in Mbarara town for lunch. You will continue your drive to Entebbe where your guide will drop you off at a location of your preference which will mark the end of your safari.
