7 days Arusha, Serengeti and Zanzibar safari is a tour which starts in Arusha and also takes you across different safari destinations in the northern part of Tanzania such as the Ngorongoro conservation area and also Serengeti national park.
You will enjoy driving around Serengeti national park and the Ngorongoro conservation area during your safari as you search for different wildlife species such as the big five and many others.
You will also visit Zanzibar island during the safari and enjoy relaxing at the white sand beaches and also engage in different activities like snorkeling, boat rides and a tour to the spice farms of Zanzibar. The 7 days safari will end in Zanzibar.
Detailed itinerary
Day 1; pick up and Arusha tour
On the 1st day of your 7 days Arusha, Serengeti and Zanzibar safari, your guide will pick you up from the airport and welcome you for your safari. After introductions and a short briefing, you will be driven to your hotel in Arusha for check in.
You will also engage in a tour around Arusha on this day and visit the waterfalls. You will have a tour to the Maasai market and get to know how the local arts and crafts are made and after this experience, you will be driven back to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2; drive to Ngorongoro conservation area and visit Ol duvai gorge
After having breakfast at your hotel in Arusha, you will start your drive from Arusha to the Ngorongoro conservation area. You will visit Ol duvai gorge which is also referred to as the cradle of mankind and get to know more about the archaeological findings at the site and evolution of mankind.
You will also engage in a game drive and explore the crater as you search for wildlife species like elephants, leopards, lions, buffalos, zebras, antelopes, wildebeests, rhinos, hippos, waterbucks among others. After the game drive, your guide will drive you to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3; Ngorongoro to Serengeti national park
You will start your day with breakfast at your lodge and your guide will drive you to the famous Serengeti national park which is home to numerous wildlife species like elephants, lions, wildebeests, hippos, antelopes, impalas, zebras, giraffes, hyenas, hippos, kudu, hartebeests and many others.
You will have lunch ahead of a game drive around Serengeti national park as you explore the vast savannah plains in search of wildlife species. After the game drive, you will be driven to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4; full day Serengeti national park
On the 4th day of your 7 days Arusha, Serengeti and Zanzibar safari, you will enjoy a full day of wildlife viewing on this day after breakfast at your lodge. On this day you will engage in a morning and afternoon game drive around the central part of Serengeti national park.
During the game drives around the Serengeti national park, you will search for wildlife species like elephants, giraffes, cheetahs, impalas, gazelles, buffalos, elands, antelopes, zebras, wildebeests, hippos and predators like lions and leopards among others. After the game drive your guide will drive you to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5; flight from Serengeti to Zanzibar island
After having breakfast at your lodge, your guide will drive you to the airstrip for your flight from Serengeti national park to Zanzibar island.
On arrival at the airport in Zanzibar, you will be picked up and driven to your hotel for check in. Depending on your time of arrival, you will spend the rest of the day relaxing at the beach.

Day 6; city tour, visit Prison island and spice tour
On the 6th day of your 7 days Arusha, Serengeti and Zanzibar safari, you will have breakfast at your hotel and after this you will start your day’s activities including a city tour around Stone town where you will enjoy walking along the winding alleyways and also seeing the historical landmarks around the town.
You will also take a private boat from Stone town to Changuu island or Prison island where you will enjoy seeing the Giant tortoises and during your tour of the island you will also enjoy snorkeling. You will take a boat back from Changuu island back to Stone town. On this day you will also engage in a spice tour as you explore the plantations where you will see different exotic spices and also get to know the uses of the spices like cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg among others. After the spice tour, you will return to your hotel for dinner and to spend the night.

Day 7; departure
After having breakfast at your hotel, you will check out of the hotel and you will be driven to the airport for your flight which will bring the safari to an end.
