7 days Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro safari is a wildlife viewing experience which will take place across different destinations in the northern tourist circuit of Tanzania.
You will visit Tarangire national park, Serengeti national park and the Ngorongoro conservation area for morning and afternoon game drives as you look out for various wildlife species while exploring the savannah plains.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1; pick up and drive to Tarangire national park
Your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha and after a short briefing; you will be driven to Tarangire national park which is a destination that is home to large herds of elephants and also for the ancient baobab trees that make up part of the beautiful scenery at the national park.
You will engage in an afternoon game drive around Tarangire national park after lunch and you will search for wildlife species such as cheetahs, lions, elephants, buffalos, gazelles, impalas, zebras, waterbucks among others as well as the various bird species. You will also enjoy the sunset in the wilderness of the national park and after your game drive, your guide will drive you to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Baobab tented camp.
Day 2; full day in Tarangire national park
You will wake up for an early morning game drive around Tarangire national park where you will look out for various wildlife species in the plains around such elephants, zebras, hartebeest, waterbucks, gazelles, oryx, buffalos, zebras and many others.
After having lunch, you will explore more of the wilderness of Tarangire national park as you look out for other wildlife species and enjoy the beautiful scenery. You will return to your lodge after the full day game drives for dinner and overnight stay at Baobab tented camp.
Day 3; drive to Ngorongoro crater
You will be driven to the Ngorongoro crater after breakfast at your lodge ahead of yoru game viewing experience in the crater. You will have your lunch before descending about 600 meters into the crater which is home to numerous wildlife species such as big cats like lions, leopards and cheetahs.
You will also visit Lake Magadi which is found in the Ngorongoro crater and along the lake shores you will enjoy seeing flamingos. You will also search for various wildlife species such as elephants, rhinos, buffalos, lions, leopards, cheetahs, wildebeests, among others during your game drive. After your game drive in the crater, your guide will drive you to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Eileen’s tree inn.
Day 4; drive to Serengeti national park
During your Tanzania safari, you will also visit Serengeti national park where you will explore the endless plains in search of more wildlife species such as elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos and buffalos.
You will have lunch after checking in your lodge in Serengeti national park. You will also engage in an evening game to see wildlife species such as zebras, lions, buffalos, elephants, giraffes, elands, impalas, antelopes among others. Dinner and overnight will be at Osinon camps and lodges.
Day 5; full day in Serengeti national park
After waking up early for a morning game drive in Serengeti national park, you will look out for various wildlife species around the savannah plains such as elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos, buffalos, wildebeests, zebras, elands, hippos, cheetahs, giraffes, impalas and many others.
You will have lunch after your morning game drive and prepare for another wildlife adventure around Serengeti national park in the afternoon where you will explore more of the endless plains and look out for various wildlife species such as lions hunting, wildebeests grazing or wildlife species roaming in the national park. After the full day game drive safari, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Osinon camps and lodges.
Day 6; drive to Lake Manyara national park
You will have breakfast before checking out of the lodge in Serengeti national park ahead of a game viewing experience in Lake Manyara national park which is a good destination for viewing the rare tree climbing lions and many other wildlife species while on safari. You will enjoy views of the rift valley escarpment on the way to your lodge where you will have lunch.
After lunch you will engage in a game drive around Lake Manyara national park, and explore the savannah plains and the diverse habitat of the national park in search of various wildlife species such as giraffes, elephants, impalas, hippos, buffalos, monkeys among others and also flamingos along the shores of Lake Manyara. You will have dinner and spend the night at Nsya lodge.
Day 7; drive to Arusha
On the last day of your 7 days Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro safari, after having breakfast, your guide will drive you to Arusha and drop you off at the airport or your hotel in Arusha which will mark the end of your safari adventure in Tanzania.
