Detailed itinerary

Day 1; pick up and drive to hotel

Your guide will pick you up from Kilimanjaro international airport and brief you about your 9 days Tanzania tour. After you have been briefed, you will proceed to your hotel in Arusha where you will spend the 1st night of your 9 days Tanzania tour and have dinner at Tulia boutique hotel and spa.

Day 2; drive to Ngorongoro crater

After having breakfast at your hotel in Arusha, you will proceed to the Ngorongoro conservation area for an experience of wildlife viewing in the world’s largest in active caldera. You will have lunch at your lodge before descending 600 meters into the Ngorongoro crater on a game drive. During your game drive in the crater, you will see a variety of wildlife species such as elephants, buffalos, hippos, hyenas, warthogs, elands, gazelles, antelopes, wildebeests, zebras and many others.

During your 9 days Tanzania tour, you will also enjoy the beautiful scenery and photography of the amazing scenery in the Ngorongoro crater where you will also visit Lake Magadi and enjoy seeing flamingos as well as many other bird species along its shore. You will return to your lodge after the game drive for dinner and overnight at Hhando coffee lodge.

Day 3; drive to Serengeti national park

You will have breakfast before your transfer to Serengeti national park for more game viewing experiences. You will see various wildlife species during your 9 days Tanzania safari in Serengeti national park. Serengeti national park has over 400 lions and different over 500 bird species. You will check in at your lodge after arrival in Serengeti national park and have your lunch.

After lunch, you will explore Serengeti national park with your guide as you enjoy seeing wildlife species like elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hippos, giraffes, buffalos, zebras, gazelles, impalas and many others. You will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Serengeti heritage luxury tented camps and lodges.

Day 4; full day in Serengeti national park

You will have a whole day to explore Serengeti national park after having breakfast at your lodge. You will explore different attractions around the national park during your morning game drive and see wildlife species such as elephants, antelopes, buffalos, kudu and many others which are active in the morning and easy to see. You will have lunch after your morning game drive.

After your lunch you will engage in an afternoon game drive in Serengeti national park and drive around the rock outcrops known as kopjes where you will see lions. as you drive and enjoy the beautiful scenery around Serengeti national park, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight as the day before at Serengeti heritage luxury tented camps and lodges.

Day 5; full day in Serengeti national park

After having breakfast at your lodge in Serengeti national park, you will have another day to explore the central part of Serengeti national park and look out for more wildlife species in the vast savannah plains. You will see wildlife species like wildebeests, zebras, buffalos, hippos, antelopes, giraffes, buffalos, lions, leopards and many others during your game drive. After having lunch as you enjoy the amazing landscape of Serengeti national park, you will also have an afternoon game drive and explore more of the national park in search of wildlife species. your dinner and overnight will be at Serengeti heritage luxury tented camps and lodges.

Day 6; drive to Lake Manyara national park

Breakfast will be served at your lodge in Serengeti national park as you prepare to have a transfer to Lake Manyara national park at the foothills of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. You will enjoy seeing tree climbing lions during your safari in the national park as well as Lake Manyara which is a major attraction in the National Park.

Many flamingos can also be seen along the shores of Lake Manyara during a safari in the national park. You will have lunch at your lodge after checking in as you prepare for a game drive in search of wildlife species like elephants, leopards, zebras, buffalos, lions and many others. Dinner and overnight will be at Twiga lodge.

Day 7; Mto wa mbu tour and drive to Tarangire national park

After having breakfast at your lodge, you will start your journey to Tarangire national park for more wildlife viewing experiences. You will have a stop in Mto wa mbu town for a cultural experience with the Maasai people as you get to know more about their culture and way of life and also see their local art and craft work. You will have lunch at your lodge in Tarangire national park after checking in as you prepare for an afternoon game drive.

During your 9 days Tanzania tour in Tarangire national park, you will see large herds of elephants as they move around the national park as well as other wildlife species such as lions, leopards, generuks, zebras waterbucks, impalas and many others. Dinner and overnight will be at Tarangire Roika lodge.

Day 8; full day in Tarangire national park

You will start your day of wildlife viewing n Tarangire national park with breakfast at your lodge and then your guide will drive you around the savannah plains of the national park in search of the different wildlife species as you explore the destination. Tarangire national park has over 500 bird species and is also named after the river which crosses through the national park.

After having your lunch, you will have another game drive in Tarangire national park and explore the attractions around the national park. Dinner and overnight will be at Tarangire Roika lodge.

Day 9; end of safari

On the last day of your 9 days Tanzania tour, you will have breakfast before driving back to Arusha town where your guide will drop you off at the airport or at your hotel in Arusha and this will bring your safari to an end.
