Jangwani River View is a mid-range accommodation found in Mto wa Mbu, on the banks of the Jangwani River, close to Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro, and Tarangire National Parks in the Tanzania region. The lodge is just 2 km from the park entrance gate and 4 km from Lake Manyara Airport. The lodge offers beautiful views of the river and lush surrounding landscape.
How to get there
One can be at the lodge by road transport from Arusha town, taking approximately 3-4 hours’ drive from Arusha city (the gateway destination to different parks of Tanzania), and fly 50 minutes to the close Manyara airstrip, then a few minutes (4 km) to be transferred to the camp.
The lodge is convenient and affordable for tourists and travelers who want to explore the park with its beautiful views that give memorable experiences.

Jangwani River View contains 16 spacious and comfortable rooms overlooking the beautiful views of the River and surrounding areas built in the African Traditional style
Rooms are well elevated with raised wooden platform and furnished with private en suite facilities of flushing toilets, hot and cold showers, wrapped mosquito nets, free toiletries, complementary bottled water, slippers, wash basins, etc.
Rooms have sitting areas and verandas that give stunning views of the river, garden, and surrounding areas.
Rooms are well equipped with comfortable, clean king- and queen-sized beds that vary in different sizes, with single beds for individuals, double beds for sharing, and a family rooming option.

About the park
Lake Manyara National Park is situated on the northern side of Tanzania, occupying the total area of 352 km² including 230 km² of lake surface. The park is situated between Lake Manyara and the Great Rift Valley; it is found 126 km southwest of Arusha in Tanzania.
The park is among the most visited and protected areas in Tanzania’s Arusha and Manyara regions.
The park contains different animals, which include elephants, buffaloes, impalas, antelopes, zebras, warthogs, monkeys, hippos, hyenas, baboons, wildebeests, giraffes, etc., and over 350 species of birds, like Eurasian migrant birds, acacia-associated birds, raptors, and 3 endangered Tanzanian species, like black-collared lovebirds, ashly starlings, etc. Manyara National Park is also famous for its flocks of flamingos and tree-climbing lions.
There are different attractions and activities in Manyara National Park, which include game drives since the park has more animals; you spot various animals while migrating from Tarangire, boat cruises at Manyara Lake, hot air ballooning, bird watching/birding since the park contains more bird species, nature walks in the park, flying safaris, cultural visits in the local homes, and many more activities.
