Lake Manyara safari : Lake Manyara national park is a scenic wildlife viewing destination which is found in the Great Rift Valley escarpment in northern Tanzania.

As compared to other national parks in the northern part of Tanzania, Lake Manyara national park is small in size and covers 325 square kilometers. Tree climbing lions are among the unique wildlife attractions that this national park is known for.

Flamingos are also found in Lake Manyara national park and during a safari at the park, you can see these birds along the shores of the soda ash lake found in the national park. Over 300 other bird species can also be seen in the national park.

Lake Manyara national park is managed by Tanzania National Parks Authority (TANAPA) and park entrance fee is among the requirements to engage in a safari in the park.  Park entrance fee for nonresidents is 59 USD in the peak season and 53 USD in the low season. Children aged between 5 and 5 years of age are charged park entrance fee of 17.7 USD for non-residents. Children below the age of 5 years are not charged park entrance fees during a safari in Lake Manyara national park.
