Moonbow lodge is a semi-luxury accommodation found on top of the Manyara Rift valley escarpment within Lake Manyara National park. The lodge is situated in close proximity to Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara. How to get there
It takes approximately 3-4 hours to drive from Arusha to Lake manyara national park and 30 minutes to fly to manyara airstrip . The lodge is just 4 km from Manyara airstrip, 8 km from Lake Manyara national park , 42km from Ngorongoro crater and 71 km from Tarangire national park . The lodge is convenient and affordable for tourists and travelers who want to explore the 3 parks in Northern circuit (Lake Manyara, Tarangire and ngorongoro) with its beautiful views.
ABOUT the lodge
Moonbow lodge contains 5 spacious and comfortable rooms with glass-framed windows overlooking the beautiful views of the Rift valley escarpment and surrounding landscape, built in the African Traditional style with a high level of comfort.
-Rooms are well elevated on raised on platform and furnished with private en suite facilities of flushing toilets, hot and cold showers, wrapped mosquito nets, free toiletries, complementary bottled water, hairdryers, slippers, wash basins, etc.
– Rooms have large sitting areas, terraces and verandas that give stunning views of the Rift Valley, wilderness, gardens and surrounding areas.
-Rooms are well equipped with comfortable clean king- and queen-sized beds that differ in size, with single beds for individuals and double beds for sharing, as well as family rooming options.

On site – restaurant that serves delicious meal types, both international and local, to meet guests choice .continental breakfast , lunch and dinners served by welcoming, friendly and organized staff. About the Park
Lake Manyara national park is situated on the northern side of Tanzania occupying the total area of 352 Km squared including 230km squared of lake surface. The park is situated between lake Manyara and the great Rift Valley; it is found 126 km southwest of Arusha in Tanzania.
The park is among the most visited and protected areas in Tanzania’s Arusha and Manyara regions.
The park contains different animals, which include; Elephants , Buffaloes ,Impalas, Antelopes, Zebras, Warthogs, Monkeys , Hippos ,Hyenas, Baboons, wildebeests, Giraffes etc and over 350 species of birds, like Eurasian Migrant Birds, Acacia Associated Birds, Raptors and 3 endangered Tanzania species like black-collared lovebirds and ashly starling birds, etc. Manyara national park is also famous for its Flocks of flamingos and tree-climbing Lions.
There are different attractions and activities in manyara national park which include game drives since the park has more animals, you spot various animals while migrating from Tarangire , boat cruises at Lake Manyara, hot air ballooning, bird watching / birding since the park contains more bird species, nature walks in the park, flying safaris, cultural visits to local homes and many more activities.
