Serengeti National Park is located in the Northern part of Tanzania. The name Serengeti is derived from a Maasai word “Siringeti” which means endless plains. Serengeti National park is a stunning land with scenic view and a lot of beautiful attractions including different kinds of birds and animals such as Cheetah, hyena, Zebra, wildebeest, and antelope where all these live you a mark which will make you always think of unforgettable trip made to Tanzania. It has mainly four parts where tourists can visit depending on the wildebeest migration cycle.
These endless plains are subtropical means it has both dry and rainy seasons, from November to April the area is mostly rainy while from May to October it is a dry season where animals also change their habitat depending on the season especially wildebeest.
Serengeti National park has more than one airstrip where flights can land like (Seronera) in the central part of the park, (Kusini) in the Southern part of the park, (Lobo) in the Eastern part of the park, (Kirawira) in the Western part of the park and (Kogatende & Lamai) in the Northern part of the park. The park can be accessed through road, and air, where both scheduled and charter flights from different cities like Mwanza, Kilimanjaro, Arusha, Dar Es Saalam, and Zanzibar Island can land in the particular airstrip, found within the park.

Wildebeest Migration
Serengeti National park is endowed by large group of wildebeest migration which occurs in different sector of Serengeti depending on the water and pasture available. Large number of carnivores (mainly cat species)
